The church and youth has always been a part of my life and that continues today. I grew up in the Buena Vista Presbyterian Church. Some of my greatest and earliest memories were the church plays, Sunday School and VBS. My parents are both active members in the church and in the community. I learned a great deal from both of them and they are still my biggest role models. I met my wife (Sabrina) at Bridgewater College in 2009 as we shared a class. I proposed to her after a Christmas Eve Service in 2013. Thankfully she said yes and we were married the following June. We have been blessed with two wonderful children (Kinsley and Paxton). These two keep us on our toes at all times. There is an age gap between my sister and I. This has created a bond between her and I which has allowed my 2 nephews and a niece to become more like brothers and a sister. When I am not with my family, I can usually be found teaching Special Education and coaching at Rockbridge County High School (Go Wildcats). I am a huge sports fan and love my Washington Nationals. I look forward to serving LexPres and I am excited to see what God’s plan is for the youth.
