Resuming In-Person Worship

PLEASE NOTE:  *DEPENDING ON CURRENT COVID-19 CONDITIONS*

Our 8:30am Sunday worship service (note the time change) will be via Zoom/live stream and 11:00am Sunday worship service will be in-person/ YouTube live stream (no Zoom).

**There will be a required registration for all attendees (for contact tracing purposes) that will begin the Monday before in-person worship. You can register via Realm, an email to Kimberly Kennedy HERE or a call to the church office to make your reservation (540-463-3873).**

At its stated meeting in November the Session approved the parameters for which we determine “in-person” worship:

The metric used will be the cases per 100,000 population 14-day average for the city of Lexington, the city of Buena Vista, and Rockbridge County. If any one of the three locales have a 14-day average above 45 cases/100,000, the in-person worship service will be cancelled for the following Sunday and broadcast via zoom and you tube.  This will allow us to make an announcement at Sunday services if we will postpone in-person worship or if we will be worshipping in person the following week.

On the Sundays when we do worship in person, there will be two services: 8:30 a.m. worship service (note the time change) will be via Zoom/live stream,  and the 11:00 a.m. worship service will be in-person/live stream (no Zoom). There will be a required registration for all attendees (for contact tracing purposes) that will begin the Monday before in-person worship. You can register via Realm, an email to Kimberly Kennedy HERE or a call to the church office to make your reservation (540-463-3873).

Please know that masks/social distancing will be mandatory for all in-person worship services. Trained ushers will seat you in designated seating throughout the sanctuary. Please note that the balcony will be closed to seating for the foreseeable future. All the necessary protocols and precautions will take place in order for us to be able to worship safely in-person.
