Usually during three seasons of the year, we have two services: 8:45am in Brady Chapel across from the church office and 11:00am in the sanctuary. We combine them during the summer months of June through August for a single service at 10am in the sanctuary. On some special occasions we may have a single service at 11am. Our home page will have an announcement if this is the case. Please check our facilities for handicapped access.
Read below for what we offer on Sundays. We hope to see you soon.
The Worship Experience
During the months of September - May, we invite you to worship with us at 8:45am in Brady Chapel and stay for fellowship or Sunday School afterwards. We welcome children of all ages at this service. If you are seeking a smaller, relaxed and informal service, this is an option for you. Come as you are!
We celebrate the Lord's Supper (Communion) weekly and invite all baptized Christians, regardless of denomination, to participate.
We will also welcome you at our traditional service at 11:00am in the sanctuary during the months of September - May. There is a formal order of worship, which is outlined in the bulletin our greeters will give you.
This service features a variety of music. We praise God with organ, choir, handbells and other instruments as well as with congregational singing.
During the 11:00 service we celebrate the Lord's Supper (Communion) usually on the first Sunday of each month. All baptized Christians of whatever denomination are invited to participate.
There is no "dress code" although you will find that many in the congregation wear business attire.
Ushers will be pleased to help you find a seat if you need assistance.
After the service we invite you for fellowship and refreshments in Brady Chapel.
Wholeness & Healing Service
On the first Sunday of the month year-round we offer a Wholeness and Healing Service that begins at 5:00pm and lasts around 45 minutes.
This service will include prayers both general and specific, scripture reading, singing and silence.
From June through August we celebrate with a single service at 10:00am in the sanctuary. We strive to mix elements of both the informal and traditional services.
During the summer months, there is no children's Sunday School, but there is children's enrichment available during the service.
We look forward to welcoming you for lemonade fellowship in the courtyard following worship.
We have the nursery available for those who would like to attend the 8:45 am service. The nursery will be staffed from 8:30 am to 12:15 pm every Sunday.
9:45am Sunday School
In addition to our children's classes our experienced caregivers provide child care for infants and toddlers.
We do not offer children's Sunday School classes during the summer months.
11:00am (10:00am) Service
We offer child care for the littlest ones during the 11:00 service (10:00 in the summer). Children from kindergarten age through second grade may participate in a special enrichment program after the Children's Time in the worship service.
Sunday Fellowship Opportunities
We hope you will take advantage of an opportunity to get to know us better after the worship service. Coffee and tea are available in the hall both before and after the 8:45 service in Brady Chapel. Feel free to take a cup of coffee to your seat to sip. After the 11:00 (10:00 in summer) service, we have a get-together for lemonade and cookies. During the winter months, this is in Brady Chapel. On some days in the summer we gather in the courtyard beside the sanctuary. We also recommend our Sunday School classes as good places both to learn and to meet folks in smaller, less-formal groups.
There are many other fellowship opportunities throughout the week.
Presbyterians celebrate two sacraments: The Lord's Supper (Communion) and Baptism. In this congregation we celebrate communion weekly in the 8:45am Sunday service, monthly in the 11:00am service and at selected special services. We celebrate baptism when there is a request for it. Presbyterians practice "open Communion" and invite all baptized Christians to participate, regardless of age or denomination.
