Luke 10:17 Lenten Series Lenten Services Each Thursday during Lent an ecumenical service will be held at noon in the sanctuary of Manly Memorial Baptist Church. All services will be approximately 30 minutes in length. Make this time of worship a part of your Lenten discipline this year.	Holy Week & Easter Schedule The week begins with the customary Palm Sunday parade on March 28. We will gather with the congregations of other downtown churches at 9:30 AM at Hopkins Green. There we participate in a brief liturgy followed by a parade through town. Each congregation willexit the parade as its church is passed. Our Maundy Thursday service this year will be a little different from past years. We will gather in Dunlap Auditorium for a Seder service and a simple supper. Easter Sunday morning, April 4th, will begin with a Sunrise Service in the sanctuary of Manly Memorial Baptist Church at 7:00 AM. This ecumenical service will be followed by a breakfast in their fellowship hall. Our 8:45 and 11:00 worship services will take place as usual here at LPC. Remember to bring flowers to place in the cross prior to worship.	The Wholeness and Healing Service that was held on Sunday, March 7 was a great success. Therefore, we will plan to continue these services the first Sunday of each month. They will begin at 5:00pm and last around 45 minutes. However, due to Easter being the first Sunday of April, the next Wholeness and Healing Service will not be until May 2, the first Sunday in May. The service will include prayers both general and specific, scripture reading, singing and silence. We hope you will put the date on your calendar and plan to join us in May!

Lenten Services
