Hopkins Green Worship
HOPKINS GREEN WORSHIP—AUG 19th
On Sunday, August 19, the 10:00 morning worship service at Hopkins Green will be followed by a potluck
lunch at Lexington Presbyterian Church. Fried chicken and beverages will be provided by Culinary
Ministry Director Skip Hess and his team, and church members are invited to contribute
other items. Church members with last names beginning with A through P are asked to
bring side dishes, and members with last names beginning with Q through Z are asked
to bring desserts. Please sign up with Kimberly Kennedy in the church office by Tuesday,
August 14, for this time of good food and fellowship!
To best accommodate a large crowd, please bring your own lawn chair, if possible.
Rat Sunday is scheduled for Sunday, August 26. Campus Ministry and Culinary
Ministries will team up to provide a warm welcome for incoming Rats. In addition,
we could use your help! Do you have connections with any Rats, VMI cadets,
or W&L students who are entering this fall or returning this fall? If so, we
would like to welcome them and help them know more about the opportunities for
fellowship, worship, and learning at Lex Pres. If you have names to suggest,
send them to Liz Ramsey at ten.s1534590499oletn1534590499@yesm1534590499arce1534590499.
